This week Usher earned a lot of high praise for his show at the Apollo Theater. Some of the most impressive props came from the New York Times, who compared him to James Brown and Marvin Gaye. Take a peek:

Body: I know you have worked really really hard to reach where you are today. Being compared with legends such as Marvin Gaye and James Brown I know must mean alot to you. Keep up the great work Usher and may Jesus Christ continue to bless you and keep you.
