SonyEricsson has announced they will be sponsoring Usher's North American tour. The sponsorship is a first for the cell phone company and will include offerings of:

"Walkman phones, access to exclusive Usher content, competitions to meet with Usher and tickets to Usher's planned North American tour."

Am I the only person who instantly thinks of cassette tapes when they hear the word Walkman? I guess it's a good thing that's not the case with the Walkman phone since that would make it quite the heavy proposition!
