Hey wassup everybody!
Well let me tell you a bit about myself, I live out in the great city of London!! And I'm the Biggest Usher fan in the world! (I know everyone says that lol) I've actually met Usher before - and I have to say that he was the kindest, sweetest man that I have ever met. Your probably wondering where and how I met him - well it happened in 2004 when the Truth tour finally hit London! Their was a competition on tv where you could win a chance to meet him backstage and get tickets to the concert. As soon as I heard this - I must have entered the competition at least 20 times. I actually remember like it was yesterday when I found out that I won. On the day I found out, I was actually talking to one of my friends saying that I don't think that I've won (I mean stuff like this just doesn't happen to people like me!). Anywayz I came home from Secondary School (High school) and then my parents told me that I had won!!! OMG I couldn't actually believe it I just kept on saying "You're lying, stop lying to me!" - the only reason I said that was because practically every day they would say "I've won". But after a while I realized that they were telling the truth! OMG I STARTED SCREAMING AND RUNNING AROUND THE HOUSE!! I WAS SO EXCITED! I RANG EVERYONE I KNEW AND TOLD THEM. BY THE NEXT DAY - PRACTICALLY EVERYONE IN MY SCHOOL KNEW LOL!!
When the day finally came around to meet him - I was so nervous! - I was practically shaking!! I got to wembley arena and they took me back stage with my mum. I waited about 10 minutes and then I saw his security come out of the arena - then I saw Usher!!!! When I saw him for the first time in the flesh - I literally stumbled back into the backstage gates! My mum said to me "Alisha are you alright????" I was fine - I just couldn't believe he was about 20 feet away from me. Anyways he went and did an interview and after about 15minutes, he came towards me!! OMG I NEARLY DIED!! THEN THIS SONY BMG MAN INTRODUCED US!! I LITERALLY COULDN'T SPEAK - THERE WAS SO MUCH I WANTED TO SAY BUT I COULDN'T SPEAK. SO MY MUM STARTING SPEAKING FOR ME! SHE SAID "SHE WENT TO YOUR CONCERT LAST NIGHT!" which was true, and he asked me - "really, did you enjoy yourself?" I finally said "yeah it was amazing!" Then he took my hand and said "what's your name?" I COULDN'T BELIEVE I WAS HOLDING HIS HAND. I said "Alisha" THEN HE HUGGED ME AND GAVE ME A KISS ON THE CHEEK!!!! I asked for an autograph and a picture!! he said "sure!" so I stood next to him - then he put his arm around me!! It was the greatest day of my life!!! I actually gave him m&m's and teddy bear saying especially for you.
Anyways I'm 19 now and at University! - and that happened when I was 15 - but its still a great memory!
I cant wait for Ushers next European Tour I just know its gonna be amazing!!
I'm gonna go to every single date in London!!
